Audio Response

Audio Response is our FREE 24-hour telephone teller service. You can access your accounts by simply calling 1-800-399-4790 from any touch-tone phone. Audio Response could eliminate unnecessary trips to a branch and provide you more control of your account, allowing you up-to-the-minute information on all account activities.

With Audio Response, you can:

  • Check account balances
  • Check account activity
  • Transfer funds between your accounts
  • Make loan payments by transferring funds from your share or share draft account
  • Take an advance from your line of credit

Benefits of Audio Response

  • Convenience – Audio Response is virtually available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Security – Audio Response requires your full account number and personal identification number (PIN) which only you know so only you can access your account. As an additional layer of security, you will be prompted to provide the last four digits of the primary member’s social security number. This will enable us to validate and authenticate your identity to prevent unauthorized use.
  • Ease of Use – Audio Response is very simple to use. Just tell the system what you want to do from your touch-tone phone by pressing the corresponding number on your phone when prompted by the recording.

With Online Banking you are able to safely manage all of your accounts at Maui Federal Credit Union at your fingertips wherever and whenever you want. Online Banking provides you a convenient way to manage your funds and offers tools to help you stay on top of your finances.

Online Banking Enrollment

To enroll online, you will need your Member Number and Audio Response PIN. If you do not have an Audio Response PIN, please contact us at 808-873-5050.

  1. To enroll, visit the Maui FCU online banking page and click on Enroll (First Time User).
  2. You will be prompted to enter your Member Number and Audio Response PIN and you will be required to acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  3. The next step is to select a Logon ID. The Logon ID must be between 6 and 50 characters. It may include letters, numbers and special characters: _-.!@$*()=+{}[]|. The Logon ID cannot be the member number, Social Security Number, or email address.
  4. Select a Security Code which must be between 8 - 16 characters and must contain at least 2 alphabetic and 2 numeric characters. In addition, it may contain special characters: _-.!@$*()=+{}[]|. The security code is case sensitive. You will then be asked to verify your Security Code.
  5. Enter your email address then click the Enroll button. You will be directed to the logon screen where you will enter your Logon ID and click the Logon button followed by your Security Code and click the OK button.
  6. The first time you logon, you will be guided through the Enhanced Authentication process which provides extra protection for your online data and helps guard against phishing scams and identity theft by recognizing your computer and usage patterns. If a questionable logon attempt is detected, the system will require additional identity verification before allowing access.
  7. You will also need to choose a Security Phrase. This phrase is displayed each time you log on to verify the authenticity of the site and reassures you that you are logging on to Maui Federal Credit Union’s actual Online Banking site. If you do not see your Security Phrase, you should not enter your Security Code. Do not use sensitive information such as account number, Security Code, or social security number in your phrase.

You are now enrolled in Online Banking! You can use your credentials to view your accounts on your mobile device using the Maui FCU Mobile App.

Mobile Banking Enrollment

Members must be enrolled in Online Banking to access Mobile Banking. Sign in to Online Banking, click on the Self Service tab, click on Mobile Money and then click the Sign-Up button to enroll. You must accept the Terms and Conditions for Mobile Banking. Choose from a variety of mobile banking services. You can get basic account balance and transaction information, or receive full mobile banking capabilities that allow you to view account details, transfer money, and more.

Simply follow these 10 easy steps to start using Mobile Deposit today!

  1. Log into our Maui FCU App.
  2. Select “Deposit” on the navigation panel at the top of your screen.
  3. TAP on "Deposit a Check".
  4. Select which account you would like to deposit into.
  5. Enter your check amount on your smartphone/tablet.
  6. Endorse the back of your check with your Signature and write “Mobile Deposit at Maui FCU Only”.
  7. The application will then ask you to SNAP a photo of the front and the back of your check. Please follow the instructions as stated on the application.
  8. Confirm your DEPOSIT amount and submit.
  9. Check back frequently to check the status of your deposit.

 And that's it! You've successfully deposited your check pending its approval.

All checks must be properly endorsed.

Mobile Wallet

Need to pay for lunch or get gas but don’t have your wallet? When you add your Maui FCU debit card(s) to your mobile wallet, you can securely and conveniently pay for purchases everywhere Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay®, and Google Pay® are accepted.

How to Set Up Mobile Wallet

  1. Add your Maui FCU debit card(s) to your mobile device. Handy details for each mobile wallet app are listed below:
  2. To pay, use Touch ID or face recognition, and hold your phone near the mobile wallet reader at checkout.
  3. View recent transactions and card activity with the Maui FCU mobile banking app.

Use It Online

After you’ve added your Maui FCU debit card(s), you can also use it through your mobile wallet account to pay for online purchases through certain vendors. At checkout, if available, you can select the appropriate mobile wallet option as payment.

Alerts 

Protect Your Accounts with Free, Timely Alerts

Stay informed of your finances by setting up electronic alerts for your accounts. They get delivered directly to your email. Or, if you're a Mobile Banking user, you can have them sent to your email and to your registered device through SMS text. There are many different user-defined alerts you can sign up for.

How to Set Up Alerts:

To set up alerts on your accounts, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking. Once logged in, click Create Alert and set up the alerts of your choice.

  • Account Alerts - Notifies you if a deposit, ATM or debit card transaction, withdrawal or check has exceeded a certain amount. You will also be notified if your account goes above or below a certain balance, if a direct deposit has posted or if a loan payment is due.
  • Transfer Alert - Notifies you if a scheduled transfer is unable to process or a final in a series of recurring transfers have completed.
  • General Alert - Notifies you of email address changes, logon ID changes and security code changes. Also notifies you when Member Service sends you a message.

For additional alerts, we have a built in Debit Card Management services on our Maui FCU Mobile App and Visa Purchase Alerts to help you further monitor your accounts and spending. If you’re worried about being online, for information on how to protect yourself please visit fcc.gov.

eStatements 

Streamline and simplify with digital statements.

eStatements are exactly like the paper statements you receive in the mail today, with the exception that you can access them securely through Maui FCU Online Banking for your share and share draft accounts.

Benefits of eStatements:

  • Accessible – saved on your personal computer, a USB drive or the cloud, eStatements are easy to store, organize and access.
  • Alerts – Receive an email reminder when your statement is ready to view
  • Convenient – receive, view and manage your statements anytime, anywhere
  • Environmentally-Friendly – Helps protect our environment
  • History – View up to 18 months of account statements online*
  • Secure – protect your identity by reducing the private information sent to your mail box

*You will have access to up to 18 months of your statements, beginning with the first month of enrollment. 

How to Enroll

You must be enrolled in Online Banking to access eStatements.  If you signed up for eStatements at least 2 days before the end of the month, you will receive your first statement on the first of the month; otherwise you will have to wait for the following month.  NOTE:  Members who receive quarterly statements will see their first statement at quarter-end.

  1. Login to your Online Banking.
  2. Click on eStatements.
  3. Select the account you want to receive eStatements.
  4. Click on the Delivery Method tab, make sure that Electronic is selected for statements.  If it's not selected, then select Electronic and click Save.  You will be notified through email when your statement is available for viewing.
  5. To ensure receipt of your email notification, make sure you keep your email address current in Online Banking. Your email address can be easily updated in the “Profile” section under Settings in Online Banking.

View your periodic statement securely once you log in to online banking by clicking on eStatements.   eStatement can be saved or printed at home as needed.

Zelle® (Coming Soon)

Zelle® is a convenient way to send or request money using your mobile banking app or online banking account2. Whether it's saving you a trip to the ATM or taking out the guesswork of splitting up the dinner tab3, Zelle® is a fast, safe and easy way to send and request money. Funds are sent directly to the recipient's account in a matter of minutes1, and all you need is the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile phone number.

Bill Pay 

Pay bills in a safe, fast and simple way.

Pay your bills fast and paper-free via our Maui FCU online banking site or the Maui FCU mobile banking app. Either way, Bill Pay will save you time and money. This free1 service lets you avoid the hassle of writing checks or visiting multiple websites to stay on top of your payments. No matter where life takes you, you'll have access to your accounts online 24-7.

There is no charge for our Bill Pay service for standard delivery. Consult our Fee Schedule for details.

Note:  Bill Pay users are required to have an active and eligible Maui FCU checking account.

With Bill Pay you can:

  • Pay bills with just a few clicks
  • Set up recurring payments to be made automatically at the frequency you specify
  • Receive and pay bills electronically from hundreds of companies such as your phone company, utilities, cable TV and many more
  • Set up alerts so you always know when a payment is drafted, authorized, canceled or processed
  • Make expedited payments2 by selecting a sooner payment date
